Both PCTG and TRITAN are copolyesters. Strictly speaking, PCTG is the abbreviation of material properties, and TRITAN is a trademark application for the food-grade high-temperature resistant PCTG material produced by Eastman Company of the United States, which means that TRITAN is a material brand. Not a material abbreviation. If this is not clear to everyone, let me give you an example. Company A is American Eastman, Company B and Company C are other companies, the TRITAN produced by Company A is PCTG, and the PCTG produced by Company B and C may not be TRITAN.
PCTG materials include food grade and engineering grade, so in food grade we can equate that PCTG is consistent with TRITAN.
